Natasha Paracha, who hails from Islamabad, was crowned Miss Pakistan World on the 23rd of May 2008. Paracha, is a graduate from the University of California at Berkeley, living in New York as well as works for the United Nations. She founded the Pakistani Student Association (PSA) at the University of California, Berkley. She has also opened a non-profit organization called 'Vision of Development', which works for the uplift of women in backward areas of Pakistan. Paracha was known more local work in the USA. She was not able to compete in international pageants.
